From Student Evaluations:

Students were asked to anonymously fill out a LIBS101 Course Evaluation.

They were asked to respond to the following statements about the use of blogs for the course by checking “Strongly Agree”, “Agree”, “Disagree”, or “Strongly Disagree”:

      • “Both worked pretty well”
      • “Posting of info, organization, efficiency - easy to use!”
      • “After explanation, getting everything turned in was not a challenge.”
      • “Did help keep contact between professor and students.”
      • “I liked that we could read about each other’s topics, it allowed us to see how other people were searching…”
      • “Posting pathfinder to the blog worked really well - and the course blog was so much better than blackboard.”
      • “I liked the convenience of being able to post directly to the blog. I think the use of technology really fit the theme of the course.”

      • “I feel like I didn’t have to interact with other students that much, or really pay that much attention to their work. The blog was more communication between instructor & student.”
      • “I had issue getting my blogs to show on the student blog page, everything was tagged correctly, it just wouldn’t show up.”
      • “Less spam!”
